Ginseng, known as the "King of Herbs," is one of the most renowned medicinal ingredients in TCM. Baishan in Jilin Province, Northeast China, is located in the heart of the Changbai Mountains and is one of China's main ginseng-producing regions.
The event will feature six core sections: an opening ceremony, the "Hengqin Cup" Changbai Mountain Wild Ginseng King Competition, an exhibition of past award-winning ginseng, a Changbai Mountain Ginseng and Specialty Products Market, an open day for the TCM Cultural Experience Hall, and a series of TCM-themed activities.
The Wild Ginseng King Competition, one of the highlights of the event, will crown this year's "Ginseng King" on November 1. The Specialty Products Market will be held from November 1 to 2 along the park's commercial street, bringing together more than 20 renowned TCM enterprises from Jilin Province to showcase and sell Changbai Mountain ginseng, medicinal herbs, and health products. Representative companies based in the GMTCM Park, such as HEC, will also participate. A food zone and a TCM-themed interaction zone will enhance the festival atmosphere.

On November 1, the park's TCM Cultural Experience Hall will host an "Open Day," offering more than 4,000 free admission slots. Visitors can explore past Wild Ginseng Competition exhibits and participate in a "Ginseng Mini-Class" covering ginseng cultivation, identification, and applications. Workshops will allow guests to craft herbal sachets, mugwort hammers, and lamps, with additional prize draws available.
