Organised by FCPAAM, the ceremony honoured 29 exceptional acupuncturists and tuina (a chinese therapeuticmassage)practitioners for theiroutstanding contributions tothe feld of traditional chinesemedicine (TcM).
President of FCPAAM, Prof Dr Ng Po Kok, highlighted the importance of such awards aiming to elevate the standards of TCM in Malaysia,

He said: "W'e hope to make the FCPAAM Cup an annual event that not only encourages praetitioners to refine their skills but also fosters an environment of mutual learning. In his address, Ng also refleeted on the assoeiation's past efforts, noting the success of the 3rd TCM Golden Award held earlier this year.
*while the Golden Award focuses on TCM's broader impact,the FCPAAM cup honesin on the skills of acupuneture and tuina," he explained, setting the two awards apart.
Moreover, World Traditional Medicine Forum chairman Dr Dong Zhilin underscored the global signifcance of the event, highlighting its role inconnecting TCM practitionersfrom different regions.

Dong also emphasised the importance of the annual academic conferences organised as part of the forum.
He added: "These gatherings promote the global development of traditional medicine, ensuring its relevance aeross diverse regions and health systems."
Organising committee chair person Prof Dr cheongJuan Hai echoed this senti-ment,describing the forumas a melting pot of ideas andexpertise.
She remarked: "This event allows us to explore innovative solutions to global health challenges while celebrating the unique contributions of traditional medicine,"
The awards and forum not only recognised exceptiona ltalent but also set a high standard for the future of TCM.
By encouraging practitioners to hone their craft,events like these strengthen the feld and promote its growth bothlocally and internationally.
