The CDC’s website has been recently updated to include congestion or runny nose, nausea, and diarrhea as coronavirus symptoms. This trio adds to more commonly known symptoms like fever, cough, and loss of taste or smell.
As the pandemic continues, the U.S. has confirmed increasing numbers of coronavirus cases in recent days, which experts have credited to both greater testing capacity and the loosening of lockdown restrictions.
As of Thursday night, the total number of cases in the country topped 2.4 million, with 124,344 deaths from the disease.
